After it opens the first time, the software works without internet and can be installed like an app. Your design is saved in the browser and is not lost when you close the window; automatic versions are in the History panel, and every change can be undone.

The only thing that goes online is the “Approximate update” for prices, which fetches the dollar rate from tgju.

The .darz file

Save to file gives you a .darz file (the wall photo, your own catalog, kept renders and shop progress are all inside it). Open file… brings it back; in browsers that support it, it asks for the file’s location once and then saves there automatically.

Deleting a project does not remove its photos and renders from the browser — another project or another tab may still need them. To free the space: Settings ▸ Unused images ▸ Count ▸ Free up…; if a project is open in another tab, close that tab first.

What the software doesn’t know

The most honest part of this guide:

• Prices — there is an approximate reference; you have the final say.
• Your cut shop’s sheet size — the default is 2800×2100, but you have to ask.
• Kerf — the default is 4 mm.
• The dimensions of your appliances — read them from their own spec sheets.
• Whether the floor is level and the wall is square — check with your own level and tape measure.
• “The assistant found nothing” means the rules we know of caught nothing, not that the design is definitely flawless.
